Martek Instruments, Inc. was established in 1968 as a manufacturer of portable environmental water quality analyzers. Ten years later, Martek expanded into ultrapure water quality analysis when it began developing products for this application with a special emphasis on power  generation.

The ability to collect, process, and transmit real-time data to  system operators make the products Martek supplies ideal for monitoring  high purity water environments such as nuclear and fossil fuel power  plants, condensate polishing systems and demineralizers, semiconductor  and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, and other industrial  applications.

Today, Martek manufacturers not only its own line of ultrapure water  quality systems from its Raleigh, North Carolina facility, but offers  products and accessories from well-known companies such as Thermo Orion  to meet the needs of the scientific and commercial communities.  Monitored parameters include:
